Our mutes are handmade in Switzerland and will work in all bells including Ehe, Haas, Hainlein, Nagel, and Birckholtz.

Vienna 1/2 Step Model – Handmade in Switzerland and based on examples in the Kunst Historisches Museum Wien. These mutes are fairly soft, providing a focused sound. They will produce a bright and buzzy sound when played loudly. This model raises the pitch of the trumpet by 1/2 step. Made of plum wood with a diameter of 6.2mm. This mute has a waxed string wrapping for added security when inserted in the bell.

Mersenne Whole Step Model - Handmade in Switzerland, our whole tone mute for trumpet or alto trombone is based after Mersenne II. The diameter of the olive wood mute is 7.0/7.5 mm. This mute has a waxed string wrapping for added security when inserted in the bell.
